To Paint or Not to Paint….

In May I found some treasures at a local garage sale and finally got around to painting them.  Check out these cute matching twin headboards/footboards with rollers / casters!  Some people would never paint over original wood but I didn't have a problem doing that with these pieces!  I really like the ornate scrollwork on the top of the headboard…..One is painted in a light pink 'Romance' chalk paint and the other is light gray 'Pebble' chalk paint (from Beverly's) and added some aging glaze.  These would be adorable in a little princess room!
